Question: I hope it is alright to ask a question here! I recently read on
some Feng Shui website about plants in the bedroom: “You should also have
some plants in order to achieve feng shui bedroom harmony, but they should
always be live plants and not dried ones. The best area to place them is
within the health area of the bedroom which is near the middle; this will
help your health energy.” It is my problem that my bedroom is extremly
small, and placing any plants in the middle would mean placing them on top
of my bed. That would not do any good for me. Do you know if it is all right
to hang the plants from the ceiling? Thanks Answer: First: Small plants are not a remedy in Feng Shui. For any plant to
be used as a Feng Shui remedy it needs to be a large sized plant (Wood
element) to qualify as a remedy. Having dried flower arrangements also do
no harm – and are not considered a Feng Shui remedy. Second: To simply
state that the health area in any bedroom is in the center of the room is
clearly false. Whoever wrote this has no in depth knowledge about Feng
Shui. Feng Shui is based on a mathematical calculation based on your home
and individual floor plan inclusive exact compass directions and the year of
construction. The energies of your bedroom are only based on the outcome of
a complete Feng Shui Consultation. So, clearly…. You do not need to
think about hanging a plant from the ceiling… Another hint you can always
ask yourself: Does the element in question (e.G. like a plant, etc. )
belong to either the Wood, Water, Fire, Earth and Metal element? And also:
Is the element big enough in size to take care of a big area? If anyone
